Well it was a great 30th birthday and Beth surprised me with a stay at the City Inn, can you believe they have an iMac in every room with streaming IPTV!

We went to the King Tut Exhibition at The O2 which was great. I was a little disappointed that they didn’t have some of the more important treasures there, but I guess the egyptians will never let them leave the country, so a trip to Egypt and Cairo at sometime in the future.

Random photos taken around London this weekend, I can’t believe I ended up walking from Tower Bridge to Picadilly Circus in a morning. Good time to take photos though at 7am on a Saturday, the streets are totally empty of people and cars, perfect. See ‘collections‘ for all of my images taken on Saturday.

Spent most of Saturday in London taking photos of stuff. Got some really great ones which I’ll upload tomorrow. Didn’t get the one of I wanted of St. Pauls because they were filming National Treasure 2 stunt sequences with a battered up 7 series BMW and a load of priests.

I spent most of Sunday wandering around London Zoo taking photos. It was good fun and good practice for the Masai Mara. I’ll try to post some of the photos soon, unfortunately they won’t be available for purchase or download as I don’t have a property release from the zoo so they are simply for my own collection

Well I spent most of yesterday wandering around landmarks of London taking photos. I’m pretty pleased with how they turned out.

Well we decided to take a trip to the Tower of London for my birthday this year. 29 this year, unbelievable, where did my 20’s go?

So saturday was Beth’s birthday. We went to the Savoy Grill for lunch (very nice), then went to see Wicked at Victoria afterwards. A great show.

Oh and we also got engaged!
