Equal parts people, product and platform.
I’m currently Head of Technology at 36Zero, where I lead the development of a global workforce management and safety platform spanning Android, iOS, web, APIs, cloud infrastructure and connected wearable devices.
My role combines technology strategy, product development and engineering leadership with hands-on problem solving - from shaping roadmaps and platform architecture to improving engineering processes, investigating performance, reviewing code and applying data and AI to real operational problems.
I’ve been building for the web since 1996. Across roles as Head of Technology, Development Manager, Team Lead and Lead Developer, I’ve built products, modernised platforms and created the standards, infrastructure and working environments that help engineering teams deliver with confidence.
My experience spans software engineering, product development, mobile technology, cloud infrastructure, connected devices, real-time data and applied AI.

Managed engineering teams behind high-traffic publishing and commerce products. Led major AWS, caching and tag-management migrations, including an Akamai-to-CloudFront move with zero downtime.
Lead Developer

Led a six-person product team and a front-end performance programme that cut page-load time by around 60% across complex, high-traffic sites.

AEG Europe
Built business-critical workflow, ticketing and intranet systems, designed APIs and created mobile tools—including an early App Store app for managing Microsoft Active Directory.

Maintained and evolved the main website, intranets, extranets and campaign sites through four major platform overhauls.
And throughout: Director of RBD Solutions since 1997, creating independent web, Windows and mobile products—including Twitter clients across iOS, Android and Chrome.
